🏦 The 3 Golden Rules of Studio Building

🪙 Rule #1: Audio Before Video

Audio in the early stages of building your studio is Priority #1. Bad, choppy cell phone footage is acceptable. Bad, choppy audio is the quickest way to lose your audience. The biggest dips we see on YouTube videos is from poor audio or inconsistent volume. Some moments are too loud or too quiet.

But good audio doesn’t just mean having a good microphone. In this course, we’re going to work on building the right acoustics for your studio to make any mic whether it’s a $25 mic or a $2,500 mic sound incredible.

So for every phase of our Studio Build, we’re going to start with audio then move to video.

🪙 Rule #2: Build As You Grow

Building out your video studio from scratch can add up quickly. Every dollar is your business needs to be invested wisely and with the expectation of a return.

If we spend $5,000 on a new studio, we as business owners expect to see that investment have a return for years to come. I can safely say that the $10,000 SamCart has invested in this studio has seen a massive return. We want you to see the same results.

So that’s why in this course, we’re going to take the approach of buying equipment that’s going to last us years - not months. We’re not looking to buy cheap equipment because we’ll just end up having to replace it when it eventually breaks.

We’re going to build as we grow. Once we’ve gotten consistent with our content and we become more familiar with our equipment that’s when upgrading makes the most sense.
